  Undergraduate Requirements

The courses offered at Baptists for Israel Institute are designed to help students increase their knowledge and skill in serving the Lord. They are taught by staff members who have many years experience in Israel and have, or are in the process of earning, M.A. degrees or higher.

Students are required to attend all the classes given the year they attend. The academic year is divided into two semesters of 15 weeks each. Class hours are sixty minutes in length, and normally a class is held for two consecutive hours per day. Classes are conducted five days a week (32 semester credit hours total). Field trips are an integral part of the classes that are taught. Classes cannot be audited.

Though exceptions and variations to these academic principles are rare, requests may be made to the Dean of Students. All such requests must be made 60 days before the beginning of the school year.

General Admissions Requirements
The school year program and the summer program of Baptists for Israel Institute are open to all students (age 18 to 35) of all races and ethnic origins. Students should have completed at least one year of college. Married students are welcome. Both husband and wife must apply as full-time student interns. In such cases, the spouse receives a discount on tuition costs. College graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree should apply for the Master of Arts program.

Recommendation forms will be sent to the student intern’s school, assembly, parents, employers, roommate and friend. The purpose of all of the references is that we may have a well-rounded view of the student intern.

All student interns must unconditionally sign our Doctrinal Statement which will be sent with the application.
